The campus is located on 26 acres in a spacious, scenic country setting surrounded by a pond, fields, and walking paths offering privacy and seclusion.

Stevens provides a highly structured, staff-secure, comprehensive therapeutic setting designed for safety. Youth live in separate two story cottages intended to serve a highly specialized population. The structure incorporates a daily routine that offers consistency, predictability and the highest level of supervision. Meals are prepared in a central kitchen and served family-style. A nutritional specialist helps the culinary department prepare delicious healthy meals that meet nutritional guidelines.

Positive behavior is rewarded with movement up the behavioral system. Youth have the opportunity to move through the program on the main campus to the Transitional Living Program (TLP) located in a nearby community and back to their families or independent living. Youth make this transition in two ways: one is by reaching designated levels and stages in the cottages, the other involves treatment team determination.

The goal of Stevens is to help youth overcome hardship and benefit from a safe, secure setting while focusing on their strengths and the development of strong, healthy relationships.
