The Brayton Learning Center, located on our main campus offers educational programs designed to help students make academic and behavioral progress. Instruction is held in classrooms with a 2:1 staff to student ratio which offer a curriculum in all core areas as well as a wide range of enrichment classes including art, music, physical education and outdoor experiental lessons. Pre-vocational opportunities are also an important element of the curriculum.

The focus is on small classrooms with individualized instruction tailored to each students academic needs. Individualized Education Plans (IEP) are developed for each student and are reviewed quarterly by treatment teams. An educational specialist works along with the teachers in developing plans.
The educational program operates year round, enabling students to progress at a rate that allows the greatest opportunity for academic success and growth. Students earn educational credits which are transferable to their home schools. Students are also able to graduate and earn their high school diplomas.

Clients who are in the sex abuser treatment program use self-contained classrooms located in their cottages, while the intermediate and transitional living students use the Brayton Learning Center. Students who reside in the Transitional Living Program (TLP) can transition to public school and / or employment on the main campus or in the community.
