Stevens Treatment Programs is a private, non-profit, 766-approved therapeutic residential treatment program and school, licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and approved by the Massachusetts Department of Education.

Overview of Programs & Services

Adolescents with behavioral and emotional problems with severe treatment issues need a structured environment that is safe, secure, and therapeutic.  A cognitive/behavioral approach gives youth the tools to be in control, to trust adults, and prepare them for a successful transition back to their families and communities. 

We are committed to their growth and success because we believe that offering a pathway to a new beginning provides a second chance for a bright future.

The Clients We Serve

•	Difficult to place males between the ages of 12-17
•	Adolescents in need of highly specialized, staff-secure, therapeutic residential treatment and education
•	Adolescents who need short-term evaluation services
•	Adolescents with a history of fire setting.
•	Adolescents with a history of a range of sexual behavior problems from trauma reactive to sexual offending.
•	Adolescents with a history of other serious behavior problems due to emotional disturbance.

Stevens is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Approved Private Schools, the Children’s League of Massachusetts, the National Association of Private Education Centers, the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs, and the American Association of Children’s Residential Centers.
